What do you think? TUC leaflet for domestic workers, 1938

In June 1938, the TUC established the National Union of Domestic Workers which was administered by the TUC Women's Officer and a National Advisory Committee of lay members and TUC General Council representatives and never really operated as an independent union. Membership was 805 in 1939, but declined thereafter. The last meeting of the Joint Board was held in 1953.
