This leaflet was issued by the War Emergency Workers' National Committee in 1915 and signed by representatives of a wide range of women's organisations

This appeal urges women on war work to join a trade union, demands equal pay for equal work and condemns sweated conditions. The appeal also confirms that, after the war men on military service should be given priority in employment, but adds that displaced women should be guaranteed alternative work.
