TUC Equal Pay debate, 1968

The 1968 Congress passed a resolution calling on the Government to ratify immediately the ILO conventions 100 and 111 on equal pay and opportunities and to give an undertaking to implement equal pay legislation within two years. It urged affiliates to support unions taking industrial action in support of the equal pay principle. This report is from the October 1968 issue of the TUC magazine 'Labour'.
