Royal Commissioners Organisation and Rules of Trade Unions, 1869

Wage rates of skilled men.
This table, showing the wages [in shillings] paid to skilled men at the Atlas Works in Manchester, is taken from the 11th Report of the Royal Commission appointed to inquire into the organisation and rules of trade unions and other associations, published in 1869. The table and other evidence to the Commission was provided by John Robinson, engineer at the locomotive engineering factory, who refused to recognise trade unions.
