Anglo-Russian Parliamentary Committee report 1926

The Anglo-Russian Parliamentary Committee issued this report, ‘Some documents concerning the campaign against the help rendered by the Russian workers to British strikers’, in response to critical articles in the British press regarding financial support from Russia during the 1926 General Strike. The Anglo-Russian Parliamentary Committee was set up in 1924 following Britain’s diplomatic recognition of the Soviet Union.
