The Ukrainian Countrywoman is one of many magazines brought back by the Women’s Trade Union Delegation to Russia 1925. The cover photo is of Nadezhda Krupskaya 1869-1939, a Bolshevik and revolutionary who was a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union in 1924 and Deputy Commissar for Education. She was married to Lenin from 1898 to his death in 1924.
