Following an invitation from the Greek Confederation of Labour, a TUC delegation visited Greece in January 1945 to advise on the re-establishment of free trade unions. A second delegation, comprising H. Tewson, A. Papworth and V. Feather, visited in February to supervise trade union elections and the reconstitution of the Provisional Committee of the Confederation. This photo shows Victor Feather [centre front], who remained in Athens until the elections were completed in June, with the newly elected Committee.
