TUC Memorandum on Education after the War, 1942

This report, presented to the 1942 TUC Congress, outlines proposals for post-primary education after the war. It calls for the raising of the school leaving age to 15 years, free secondary education for all and an end to private schools. It also covers further education, youth services, access to universities, medical services and church schools.
