'British Labour's Message to the German People', 1939

This appeal was issued by the National Council of Labour - the TUC, Labour Party and Parliamentary Labour Party - in August 1939, broadcast from various European radio stations and reprinted in the 1939 TUC Congress Report. This German language edition is printed on fine, almost transparent tissue paper and was probably circulated by anti-fascist groups in Germany. It condemns the German - Soviet non-aggression pact and calls on German workers to oppose the war.
