Equal Pay Campaign - Lobby of Parliament, 1951

On 18 July 1951, the Civil Service National Whitley Council Staff Side organised a mass meeting on equal pay in the Central Hall, Westminster. After the meeting, hundreds of men and women civil servants went to the House of Commons to lobby their Members of Parliament. This report comes from the August 1951 issue of Red Tape, the journal of the Civil Service Clerical Association.
