The full title of this pamphlet, issued by the London Schoolmasters' Association in 1921, is 'Equal pay and the teaching profession: an inquiry into, and the case against, the demand for "equal pay for men and women teachers of the same professional status".' It heavily condemns what it calls the 'evil doctrine' of equal pay and uses moral, economic and biological arguments to support this position.
