'Skirling pipers head equal pay march', 1969

Press cutting from the 'Morning Star' newspaper 19 May, 1969 reporting a demonstration in London, organised by the National Joint Action Campaign Committee for Women's Equal Rights. The Committee was formed following the Ford equal pay strike in 1968 and Fred Blake, the Dagenham area organiser of the National Union of Vehicle Builders, was its secretary. The march ended with a rally in Trafalgar Square.
