Manifesto to the women voters of Great Britain

Leaflet produced for the 1922 general election by the National Union of Societies for Equal Citizenship, whose president was Eleanor Rathbone. The manifesto demands include equal franchise [women were still restricted by a higher age limit and an occupational qualification], equal pay and opportunities, recruitment of more women police officers, legal rights for wives and mothers [including custody of children, maintenance, pension rights] and support for the League of Nations. Women voters are urged to question all candidates on these issues.
