Polish Labour Movement Underground Press, 1943

The Socialist Party and trade unions in Poland were forced underground after the German invasion but managed to smuggle out messages to refugee groups based in London. This pamphlet, published by Liberty Publications in London to mark May Day 1943, includes reports of the Underground guerrilla war, mass deportations, destruction of Jewish communities and even strikes.
